Miami Art Week 2018 was a huge success showcasing the world’s best artists, galleries, and coveted parties of the year.  YVP was on the ground experiencing some of the week’s best art fairs, events, and restaurant scene that clients had access to.  Below are our top three highlights of the week:

1. Bob Zangrillo’s Private Estate Party

Chairman and CEO of Dragon Global, one of the world’s leading venture capital firms, Bob Zangrillo hosted an exclusive blowout at his private home at the end of the week making the party the event to be at it.  From international superstar David Beckham to supermodel Bar Refaeli to Public School’s Maxwell Osborne, the guest list could not have been more star studded.

2. Rubell Family Collection

The famed art gallery opened its doors on Tuesday, December 4th showcasing its new exhibition with a VIP reception.  The space was teemed with global and local artists, influencers, celebrities, and socialites celebrating the launch of Purvis Young and New Acquisitions currently on display till June 29, 2019.  This is the first time the gallery’s entire space will be devoted to a single artist, an iconographic history of Young’s impactful work.

3. Stubborn Seed

Top Chef Winner Jeremy Ford’s first establishment makes a huge impression on diners who are able to obtain a table at this South Beach hotspot.  YVP had the opportunity to dine at this coveted eatery trying a number of delectable appetizers and entrees including pastrami coated foie gras, handmade ravioli pasta, and more.  Rated four starts by the Miami Herald, Stubborn Seed is a definite must try for locals and visitors alike.
