Broadway Insider Spring 2019

The upcoming spring season is the best time to experience new and dynamic Broadway shows that will become hot tickets throughout the rest of the year.  YVP has inside access to theater’s most coveted new productions offering exclusive VIP packages encompassing meet and greets, backstage tours, and intimate interactions with cast.  Below are YVP’s top picks that should be not be missed:

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II – It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

Kiss Me Kate – “Kiss Me, Kate” follows the production of a musical version of William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew and the conflict on and off-stage between Fred Graham, the show’s director, producer, and star, and his leading lady, his ex-wife Lilli Vanessi. A secondary romance concerns Lois Lane, the actress playing Bianca, and her gambler boyfriend, Bill, who runs afoul with some gangsters.

Tootsie – Based on the 1982 film of the same name, “Tootsie” tells the story of a talented but difficult actor who struggles to find work until an audacious, desperate stunt lands him the role of a lifetime.
